I didn't get on the computer today to check anything,
Have you looked into keeping the boat at the jetty and some or all of you staying at the best western across the street. Unhook the trailer and take two spot.

keith, its ok. i am going to call north point back today if they are open. i called the place in maryland for the permit for the boat ramp and i cant keep the truck and trailer there over night so i cant event park it there and stay in a marina in the boat. it would have to be a private ramp at a marina like yours. i am going to see if north point wont let me park it there just for night time. i will be out in the morning and in when it gets dark. hopefully they will allow it. the other problem is the three hotels in kent narrows are sold out that weekend. i think one somewhere near there wasnt and it was like 260 a night before taxes. for that much i might as well rent a boat like ram.

i got reservations finally. the mariners motel in rock hall just had a cancellation and they should be able to accomodate the boat and truck. now all i have to do is finish putting it back together and run it and then i am set.

If this helps I believe Ferry Point, where I put in will allow you to leave your boat on the trailer over night. Normal ramp fee is $20 per day. It may be worth a call. I can also check with the owner the first time I head out. I'm sure I will be down there beginning of June. The ramp is close to Dobbins and also close to Rt.2 Ritchie Highway. Rt.2 is a few miles north of RT.50, Western side of the Bay Bridge.

I need to replace the impellor ,clean it ,change the fluids and get fresh stickers.

i probaly will be getting out late afternoon on friday. 2-4 is what i'm thinking now could change. I might go to the island friday night then I will be there already.

I'm not sure exactly my plan for Friday night, but I will have the big boat from first thing Friday morning, so I'm up for anything. I will be behind the Island no later then 10am on Sat. unless like keith I end up there Friday night.

It would be great to have another dealer in the area. Theres alot of mates on the bay and not alot of options for support.

I posted before but... I live on Kent Island. You can get a day pass to use any of 6 or 7 ramps on the island for $20.00 I think, annual is $30. You are welcome to keep the boat and trailer at my house, there are plenty of hotels within 5 minutes of driving either direction if it helps anyone out...

eightsec, thanks for the offer, i was calling around but unless i went up to chestertown or over the bridge to annapolis they had no vacancy at any of the hotels near you. if they did have vacancy it was 250 or more per room.
