Sagging Cabin Linner

If its anything like a car headliner, best to just have it re-done. I have tryed to reglue a head line in a car. That was a mistake, ended up taking it all out and having it done. They just don't look right.

Thats what I tryed, it hardens and causes the liner to have hard spots in various places. I don't know what they use at the factory, but its good stuff.

INXS, my head liner in the playpen, was sagging as well. I was in the same spot.
This is what I did. I took and used a light mixed fiberglass resin, and put it in a rolling pan, got a 2 1/2" roller, and rolled a ("light"), I mean light thin coat, maybe a 1/16 thick coat on the top over the liner, and it worked good, still holding after 3 years, and I didn't have any hard spots or curled fuz. Or you might even want to try using the super fast drying contact cement, but make sure that you have it were you want it when you stick it in place, cause thats were it will stay.Another idea might be to use carpet glue, I Know that will work also.Good Luck!
I had the same problem INXS, although I was only sagging noticably on the driver's side. What I ended up doing was cutting the liner along the corner seam where it fit to the support member running lengthwise front-back underneith the deck. That way when I put it back, you could only see the cut if you were specifically looking for it... it was shoved into the corner. I shot the underside (bare fiberglass) of the deck and the topside/inside of the liner with several coats of spray adhesive. I pushed/molded it to the underside of the deck slowly from front/side to back/center. It is not perfect, but regardless it came out damn nice, and was way cheaper than having it professionally done i'm sure.

I always used 3M Heavy Duty spray glue. Some times you cant get a headliner off to reglue it without stretching and tearing it. I know that you can buy the headliner material straight from CHECKMATE,I have a few times. Good Luck.
