sidewinder boats

Well-known member
Are they still made?
I have a friend who is looking for new seats for is 14 footer.
Thanks
Pierre

They stopped making them over 15 years ago. They were made by "Wisconsin", my dad had one. The last we could find, a company had purchased their stuff and was in the state of Washington. My suggestion would be to find seats that he likes and fabricate them to work...

when i was very young my first boat was a sportyac i saved my snow shovelling money for it, my second boat was a boston whaler montauk, third boat was a 16ft sidewinder jet w/a 455 olds. and when I say mine, I was too young to own a boat, were my mom and dads. I remember rowing that sportyac, learning how to drive the whaler and finally the jet. I loved the wrap around windshield and the sporty look of sidewinders, the seats were comfy, (as far as I remember)

Someone is building/selling them here in Ontario,Ca. again.I believe they started last year.I think the Sidewinder SS's were one of the best looking ever built.JMHO.

Im a member over at sidewinder~
Yes, there is a guy making them again, and there are still ones available. I just purchased a 72 18'SS that im restoring. Demo is almost finished~~ TIME TO GET GLASSING!

lol, It figures someone will ask about Sidewinders the minute my site goes down. Be back up soon I hope.

Check with Mike's Marine up there in Ontario, deal with him, not the guy in Kent WA. They prefer you go through a dealer for anything.

Tell Mike that the guys from the Sidewinder Forum sent you. www.mikesmarine.ca
