1996 242 Convincor Let me remind you its what is called the 260 now. So basically Checkmate counts the swim platform as footage on the New Convincors. Mine is 24.2 without the swim platform included. Later years the 242 mold became the 260.
My boat shines like new. Never buffed just hand waxed. It has always been garaged kept since new. Never left in the water or outside. The boat has never been beached or driven on the trailer. I always pull my boat on by hand. The boat has Never been in salt water or near salt air.
The interior is all original and is rip and rot free. The sun pad was recovered once.
The engine has around 200 hours on it. It has a Chevy Bowtie 502 block with Chevy aluminum heads. The engine is a full roller motor with crane roller rockers. Imco exhaust and MSD dist, box, and wires.
The Bravo 1 drive was rebuilt last season with the upgraded bravo gears. It has a new gimble ring, k-pins, bearing, all hoses, and boot.
The trailer is the original rust free 96 c-hawk trailer that came with the boat. New tires,, Brakes work perfect. Their are some rock chips in the trailer but NO DENTS or RUST
The boat comes with 2 cockpit covers and one full cover. The one cockpit cover is black with a huge Checkmate horse head on it. That one cover alone was 975.00
The boat runs mid seventies with no problem and cranks and runs perfect. Its ready to go for a ride 24/7.
I have all the paper work in hand on the boat and trailer.
