It looks like it has the old style windshield on it but its clealy a late 90's model. I didn't know they did that.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

I believe in 98 the 251 was the only boat that year that had that windshield. And it was called the 251 classic.

The Normal windshield and windscreen were also available that year on the other models. Checkmate also offered different graphics that year. I think I have seen 3 different graphics on 98 Convincors that year
 
big red you are correct, they only built a handful of 251's in 98 and that was the only model you could get that windshield with. and they did call it the "classic". its basically the old 251 molds with modern interior, railing, gel and swim deck. i love mine, but it is for sale.
 
Convincor is my favorite Checkmate....but buying one is a dream for now, can't afford to even fix up my Strobe at the moment.
