I am looking for replacement latches that will stay down flat so my kids can walk safely on the engine cover area without stubbing toe on the latch that keeps popping up. Anyone know of a source?

Give Overton's a try. They are located in Greenville,NC. when you order from them it is on the door step in two days call. 1-800-334-6541 or www.overtons.com

If you click the Overton's banner we have on our site and buy something, we get a little fee from them at no cost to you. :thumb:

Go right to the sorce look up PERKO and they will have hundreds to choose from. And you cut out the middle man in the price.

Talk to Mike at the factory. The Original were from Perco but they do not make that size any more. Mike makes custom bases for new latches, but you need to use the lock arms from the old latches. I picked mine up last year at the Poker run for $90.00 for both latches and custom bases for them to fit in the holes on My diplomat. Daren34's Eluder I/O uses the same latches by the way.

i am looking for some lift and turns and the company that made the ones on my 87 ambassador is southco from PA, i did some looking on the sight and they have them , but i think i got to buy 40 pcs, i hope not , i'm gonna whine a little
