The time has come...

Hey guys, I posted last year that I was selling my Convincer but was able to enjoy her for one last summer. Anyone looking here before I toss it on the regular selling sites? Fire sale pricing as she has to go..

The sad day has come where I have to part with my Checkmate -

1995 253 Convincer
low hours 383 Stroker
Bravo 1 (all new gears)
All new cockpit interior
Recent sundeck upholstery
New stereo system throughout
Trailer included
MUST GO NOW $11,900/OBO (sorry to the rest of the Convincer guys out there selling their boats for my low $$ price, but for personal reasons she has to go)
My loss is your gain..wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to another Checkmate connoisseur before I post on the rest of the sites...Plenty of photos on request

Wow, I thought I would get some traction on this here haha. Did I over price it? I'm extremely negotiable, but figured someone on here might be interested since it seemed competitively priced. If not no worries, but any help on pricing (I won't be offended-within reason lol) if it doesn't get activity here I am going to post on the large sites but can't sit on it once she comes out of the water..any help is greatly appreciated!

My suggestion is, buy a bottle of this for 20 bucks then post new pictures :thumb:

HAHA, you're 100% right, but I'm more of a simple green guy myself..lol. Rushed grabbing some pics today and didn't even think about when I left the dock..I'll get a better pic up this week. Thanks!

I think you are priced pretty reasonable already . The on off works magic circles around simple green and watch the stains vanish almost like they are evaporating. I use sno bowl from the dollar store at $1.60 a bottle. The small block is very rare in a 253 and the 383 isn't working much at 4200 rpm for most powerboat guys.Seems like a nice and cheap 253 to me. Good luck with the sale.

I think you are priced pretty reasonable but not so cheap that people are racing to go pick it up. What kind of trailer do you have and what condition is it in? Do you have two canvas tops? Maybe take some motor pics.

If this was priced at 8,000, there may be a line of people out your door. Nice boat though.

Thanks Drop top, I'll get to the marina and gets some engine pics. The trailer is a 2004 dual axle Sea Lion. AND PRICE REDUCTION TO $10,000 OR BEST OFFER TAKES IT!!

I'd be interested at that price if I was in the market. It would be underpowered for me but could repower, sell small block and still be on the right side of the investment.

Docks are getting pulled soon at my marina, looking to sell quick so I don't have to winterize and shrink wrap and use $ for other projects..first $8k takes it!!
