Tilt and Trim fluid.....

I read in my manual to use ATF fluid if Mercury Quicksilver T&T fluid was not available. What type of ATF fluid. There's ATF+3, ATF+4, ATF type F, with additives, .............

The type F fluid says it's good for other hydraulic applications. Help, before I do something I shouldn't.
