Top Speed Poll on New 2100BR......

SCT

Well-known member
I'm ordering a new 04'Cmate Pulsare 2100BR w/ a Mercury 300X (Sportmaster gearcase) this week. Colors: -
White base, black and red stripes w/ light mist of silver metal flake (just in the stripes.)
-White, black, and red interior w/ black carpeting.
-Black vinyl trim insert.
-Black bow and cockpit cover.
-AM/FM/CD. Chrome instrument bezels. And a blue printed bottom. Pretty much like the 2100BR in the Cmate brochure.

I bought a 12", manual, black anodized RapidJack. I'm looking for a GPS speedo. And an awsome looking chrome, metal O/B hose kit. It should be a real clean installation.

Any comments or suggestions?

Any "TOP SPEED" estimates? (1 person, 1/4 tank)

I saw 86.3 mph GPS on my other Pulsare/ 300ProMax (with very little experimenting)...............My guess is a solid 93-94 with the right prop, engine heigth, temp. and chop!

SCT

I would say at least 90.

Hey what did you have for setback and what prop did you run when you got 86.3 with your other boat....I can't break 85, but I'm still trying props.

Hey Craig, how big of a lightning ET have you tried?????

SCT, 93 94? I would never think the Checkmate Pulsare could ever hit 90 MPH and I'll need to see it to believe it!!!!

I've heard as high as 90 GPS with the std jackplate and the new generation 300X Pro Max.So.....93-94 isn't a bad guess with that much set back.........just my humble opinion!Should be one hell of a fun boat to drive regardless!

I finalized my Pulsare 2100BR order this week.
They should start building the boat in the next coming week or so. Hopefully, I can get Kip Combs to post some pictures during the building process.
I'll be ordering a black dual axle trailer from C-Hawk Trailers (Bucyrus, Ohio) sometime this month. The trailers are custom fit to your Cmate model. If you are looking for a trailer, I highly recommend calling Otis and Carol at C-Hawk. They make a very nice trailer for a reasonable price.

Any other guesses on the top speed????
After talking to a guy who ran a 300PM, then up graded to a 300x Merc, I'm guessing a solid 95.

It will look funny to see a bow rider boat w/ a ski tow running in the 90s...... I won't be the fastest boat on Lake Normen, put the boat should turn some heads.

SCT

Ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Can't wait to see pictures!!!!!

95 will sure be a nice speed to be going at!!!
You'll be flying along quite nicely

Congratulations for purchasing an amazing (and my dream) boat

That will be a great combination for sure. Looking forward to see the boat and the numbers it will run.

SCT, where are you located? I know of Lake Norman in NC (I grew up in Charlotte). Is that where you're at or are you somewhere else.

No fellas, he's building MY dream boat! LOLOL!

I'm guessing SCT will get 88 out of it, he'll have to bring it here to me to get 95 out of it..........

Hey Shannon;
I would guess 90-91 without any specifics. You can always get another 2mph with a DAH built prop if you get stuck at 89! That 300X should give you another 20-30hp over your 300. I guess your having a bow cover made? Is Lake Norman still kinda crazy on the weekends? I used to take my Enchanter to Gaston.
Having a blast with the Pulsare. Really looks hot with the center deck rail. ProMax runs flawlessly. Gotten pretty good at balancing it on the pad. Good luck with the new ride!

Man I hate that, the hull is great inside and out. I have to sand for a day and mine still does not look like that.
