Trailer repair: Best way to get the boat off?

The more I thought about it I didnt really need to take the boat off. It already has new bunks. I did the shackles and u bolts last year. It was a pain in the ass climbing under there to get the axles and inside rails though. It would have taken me a few hours to grind the whole thing if the boat were off but It came out pretty good. I'm having dsome Rallysport decals made for the boat so I think im going to have a set made for the trailer also. I couldnt beleive that the old pinstriping was all done by hand!! I thought it was a decal until I started grinding them off. Pinstriping is becoming a lost art.

hey did I see your rallysport for sale on craigslist boston? I hope youre gettin a new checkmate to replace it.

hehehe yeah thats mine. Just more or less for ****s and giggles to see how the market is going. I have to start paying back my student loan, but Im making enough now to live comfortably and still make my payments. I highly doubt I would sell it now unless someone was really really really serious about it and was willing to pay top $$.
I am still looking for another Check. Prolly a Starflite or convincor.?we'll see

Pinstriping is becoming a lost art.

That's so true. Around here, there's an ole school guy, biker, that is the chit with hand striping. Never seen anything like it. He can do anything...just don't tell him WHAT to do.... He'll light up a big "fatty" and do the deal and his work is incredible.

Thats cool.
I almost went to an art college here in Boston that specifically specializes in Sign painting and pinstriping. A friend of mine went there and now owns a custom paint shop. pretty cool :D
