What's the biggest engine?

I have an 89 starliner with a GT 300. It is mounted on a 6 inch set back jackplate. Mad EFI
just got finished with the intake/reed plates. With just me & half fuel with a 29 pitch srx prop she reads 90 on gps. with the reed plate mods the thing has plenty of low end
go.

This is a boat Kunkels rigged up during the mid 80's and it was radared at 87 MPH.

Just goes to show you that you never know what you will find on this site! After looking around for more Starflite info, I found this old thread.This thread is over 6 years old!

This is my boat! I reached out to Kip at Checkmate last year when I bought it and he told me it was sold to Kunkels Marine in Ohio. It is still OMC rigged, but it does not have that monster on the back of it! Maybe I should check out the transom!

I bought it from a guy in Ohio that told me he was the third owner and the boat had spent its whole life in Ohio. UNREAL!

This mesage board is incredible!
