Which is better? I/O or outboard

I guess i'll chime in on this one. I have to admit, for a while, while i was still looking for a boat, i was leaning towards goin with an O/B simply becuase of the speed advantage and better gas millage. But, i am not nearly as much an O/B fan as i am a nice LOUD rumbling V8 I/O, so that got the better of me! Plus i like the looks more of an I/O powered boat VS an O/B hanging off the back. Don't get me wrong, i think O/B's are cool too, but i would have to go with the I/O any day of the week.

OK BOYS, HEARS A COMPROMISE FOR EVERYONE...VERADO!!! FOURSTROKE, INLINE 6 CYLINDER, SUPERCHARGED 275 HP, BUILT IN HYD. STEERING, ETC.

The VERADO's to quiet... Have anyone read the reviews.. Super charged dual cam 24 valve L6.. The 200 - 275 has all the same hardware the big difference is the computer.... It won't be long before someone makes some type of modifyed exhaust, external inner cooler, offers different cams, recalibrates the computer.. What do you think 400hp or more
