Would this tow my boat???

Buddy of mine got pulled over for something else driving a work truck 3/4 ton hauling a dual axle trailer and the cop asked why he did not have a chauffeur's license for it but let him off on it to be nice.

must have been a commercial trailer, you do not need a chauffeurs licence to haul a recreational vehicle, trust me i got in a arguement with a oakland county sheriff over this and lost. my arguement was why do i need a chauffeurs license to haul my small landscape trailer(business related) when some idiot can pull a 40ft boat and have no clue what they are doing.....long story short i got a ticket and had to get a chauffeurs license

i tow my 251 convincer with an 08 jeep liberty, all over the state and have never had a problem. as a matter of fact this is the second liberty v6 we have used for a tow vehicle, and only updated because we liked the new body style. the 05 had 87,000 miles when we traded up, and never had an issue. 75 mph down the highway no problem. no guts, no glory!:thumb:
:rof: its late and this thread is giving me a good laugh.. well only if you dont live in Illinois that is...because i dont want to be anywhere around you when ur pulling that thing...its not if but when you will have a "problem"....because good luck stopping that thing at 75mph when the traffic suddenly stops in front of you...so hopefully you dont end up killing someone...
also if you check into it it does say the liberty is rated at 5000lb (which your probably over that) but no one recomends it...most didnt recommend pulling over 3500...
