Your Dream Checkmate

Boston Predictor

Well-known member
Im just curious, and not sure if this has been done here before, But lets just say, If you could have ANY member of the board's Check, which one would it be??

There ar soo many nice boats here its almost impossible for me to say for sure but....

I couldnt keep anything larger than 25' due to limited space and launching and what not, so it would have to be with in reason. (although I would love to have a 30'er)

I think If I had to choose right now It would probably be Boatman's Enforcer, or one of wildmans rides.

Anways Im curious who's mate you all would like to own, so lets hear it fellas;)
Maybe we could narrow it down and get a vote going?

I'd like to have SCT's old ride.

Actually, almost any of them would be good! :D

But specifically, I'd like to have his old Red 2100 Long Deck with the X out back.

My dream rig is that boat with a 250XS. :)

I kinda like SCT's new ride! If I can't have it, I will just keep mine. I like it more and more every time it gets wet! boatman

I'd have to say a new 'old school' 2100BR, striped and rigged by Randy (Wildman) with a new 3.2 300XS motor on a 10" hydraulic jack plate. Blinged out with anodized everything. Orange metalflake main stripe, with black and yellow accent stripes. A little on the 'wild' side. No horse heads. Orange carpet, snap-in, with a white fiberglass non-skid (not wood) floor. Merc Ride-Guide dual cable streering, set up Allison style dual-opposed or offshore style hydraulic with wing plates. Ski tripod and extended swim ladder so the fat chicks can get back in the boat. (fat chicks need love too). Tandem axle trailer. After taking delivery, it would go straight to John Spaeth in Canada for bottom blueprinting and pad modification to 12" wide.

Hey JW, I agree with you on the fat chic's,(why do you think I got a bigger boat?), but the boat you are talking about is not owned by anyone on this site.(yet)lol Pick one that is so we can all see how your opinion stacks up with the rest of us. Save the big dreams for later!lol boatman

This is the best 21 Ive seen so far...:thumb:
NO bowriders for me. No thank you. (no offense)

But I must say, I would probably take boatman's enforcer over this.;)

My dream would be if Checkmate was to celabrate the change of ownership by having a essay contest on "What thier Checkmate means to the owners" that I would win of course. And the prize is having thier boat completely refurbished and made better than new and have it filmed for the speed channel.(look what it did for Chip Foose) I would like it to stay old school. Same Hull & Colors
Yellow Interior with the high back buckets
The best & fastest offset & jack
A 300xs with best all around prop
All the shiney stuff & foot throttle that still
uses the hand throttle too
Huge stereo
And a Yellow powder coated dual axel trailer

I guess I'd be happy another 14 yrs if I mine with a $30,000 make over!!!!

:rof: :bounce: :rof:

Or I'll take the keys from BLOWN MILK CHECK thats out of up state New York, thank u very much!

I'm thinkin that Pulsare Boston has pictured only instead of red I want blue...completely custom rigged of course with either a 250 or 300 XS (my lake gets kind of rough, don't know if I'd benefit from the extra power).

This??

That would be nice but you cant rig the pulsares transom with twins unless you make a serious custom bracket.
Jupiter's got a sweet looking boat though

Don't mean to sound righteous but I'd take my Starflite. Of course with a lot of extra work. Fully Aquabuffed and waxed gelcoat, Either a modded OMC V8 or twin Yamaha 225's on a custom setback bracket, new dual axle trailer with bunks, and maybe tint the windows. ;) I'm actually quite content with my Mate.

But if I must play the game I'd take JBS' Enforcer and send that V8 out to be B U I L T !!!

Crush my dream!!! :yell:

I suppose for a dream boat, it'd be twin 454's each with a huge single-turbo setup. The hull really wouldn't matter to me at that point

I'd probably build the baddest 30 footer with twin 300xs motors with evey custom trick thing I could put in it. Hydraulic rear hatch, red LED lights everywhere, 2000 watt stereo, Recessed LED lighting in the stabbin cabin, 40 ounce snap-in carpet with the Checkmate logo sewn in, GPS navigation screen, Livorsi controls and carbon fiber guages, And the baddest trailer I can make with 20" chrome rims and 295/40/20 Kumho tires. I'd have to think about the colors. It would depend on wether I was gonna sell it right away, or keep it. My taste seems to be a bit wild for some people.

what about budget here....how about a 07 pulsare 2000 long deck w/200 hp opti. w/boatman new prop and 10 in set back..gps speedo..prbably run 70 or 72 mph...sounds good to me !!
