NEW to me 21' Pulsare LD! 225HP MERCULESE

Non dorky 21' Pulsare Long Deck w/225HP Merculese :sssh:

Ran it today, 5.5" Manual CMC plate jacked up all the way with 1998 225 EFI and 26P Trophy Plus @ 5800 RPMs top speed of 76.5GPS!!:bounce: It hopped up on plane with a quickness/no cavitition and accelerated great throughout the range!

I was shocked really... my old "300" yamadog pushed my 21' BR to only 78 same setup... got more after the 12" hyd j/p but still...

Boat is SUPER clean for a '98, I almost feel bad for paying what I did... almost. ;) Patience + persistance = Good deal everytime!

Pics finally!

that is pretty clean... your spinning a 26 pitch trophy on yours? i got a similer set-up except 8 1/2 inches set back... i got one of those new Fury props on order i'll have to let you know what kinda speed i can get out of that it being a 3 blade..

Yep, 26P now. Prob gonna get a 27P Trophy Plus and have it worked a bit and shopping for a 10-12" j/p right now... I liked my 12" bobs hyd on last boat but not sure it's worth the $1200. Any 21'/225HP combo's hit 80mph yet I wonder....?

One of my favorite looks ever is your old boat with that gorgeous silver metal flake! But it looks like you were able to sell that, put some money in the bank, and still end up with a great boat! :bigthumb:

I'm surprised to see you back in a boat actually!

I'm hear ya... I searched and searched and searched for another Mate with metalflake but seems they are few and far between. Only thing about the last one was in the right(wrong) light the red looked orange-ish. I was actually thinking about getting some extra silver flake graphics/thin striping made for this one. We'll see.

Why suprised? I still made a decision and made it happen b4 Brett Favre this yr! ;)

Well, I guess there is one person in NJ that wasn't BS'n about how
fast his boat was.

Great, and congrats. It looks better in the water than when it was on the trailer in shrink wrap.

Nice rig!!! (But I liked your old one better. That flake was sweet!!)

I haven't run my boat in a while (just can't get to the lake right now) but I'm hoping for 80 in my 20 BR. I'm turning a 25P Trophy Plus on a 225 Pro XS and made 75.4 on the gps. I have a 6" hydro with 4" brackets in front of it...I know there's at least a couple more mph there, but 80 might be elusive.

I'm actually in P-Cola right now flying for the Navy. Any chance you'll make it this far west?

Once again, sweet boat and nice numbers! Congrats!
