You have to be both, a member for one year and have 100 posts to vote in polls.

Originally we had all polls set up so that anyone could vote and it led to problems. Numerous members suggested we fix the problem by changing the rules, we openly consulted the community as to what should be done to fix things and what we have now is a response to the suggestions.

Hi Paul,

To vote, you have to be both a member for one year and have a total of 100 posts or more to vote. So once your one year anniversary date comes, you will then be able to vote.

Oops!! My bad I thought you could vote immediately when becoming a supporting member.:shakehead: Probably need to add this as a sticky so the folks will know.:thumb:

My understanding is if you become a supporting member you can vote before the 1 yr/100 posts. If you're not a supporting member the 1 yr/100 post rule applies.

That's what I thought as well. That was one of the benefits of becoming a supporting member.

I thought you had to be a suporting member or be a member for a year or have 1000 posts....it really is not a big deal though:cheers: as my dad used to say..you know what thought did? he thought he farted but he s@#t!
 
Your aired out 270 shot is very nice.It would get my vote for boat of the month.Maybe not for photography of the month but a very nice action shot and boat Big Brew.
