    Trim Guage Help PLEASE!!!

    I had a problem with my trim gauge earlier this year, it seems the trim sender on the outdrive was bad. This was located in a round housing on the lower right hand side of the outdrive. There was a small disc inside that had one of the tabs broken off. Jason

    I'm a stupid newbee as well, but as far as I know if your exhaust is routed through hull you should see the water coing through or your not pumping water. jason

    prop problems

    Thank You, Do you have a number for her. I have a 25 mirage plus on there now and i am spoinning about 4300-4500 RPM's depending on load. I tried a 21 and a 23 pitch mirage as well and had to hold back throttle to stay under 5000 RPM's. I am getting fruewtrated but hope to figure it out soon...

    I have just bought a 1996 convinvor 242 with a 454 mag mpi. The trim gauge worked the first few times out then decided to jump around. Is there a simple answer as to where I can look to solve this? I noticed a trim sensor gauge on the starbord side of the outdrive, is this where the problem...

    Thank You, I wasn't trying to trim out the boat with the tabs, I had the tabs trim all the way up but noticed that the boat didn't seem to trim up as it did when I bought it, a whole two days prior, I examined the trim tab and noticed a leaking line. I was then able to push the trim tab down...
