And it's his first boat :bounce:

He found a mint 2006 Checkmate 1600BR with a 2007 Evinrude ETEC 115 down by him in Arizona. The package options are a bimini top, hydraulic steering, ski tripod, hydraulic surge brakes for the trailer, 3 props, CD stereo, big glove box. Graphics are white hull with blue and gray stripes. Pix to follow! :bigthumb:

He's in the Chandler area:

Not sure how often he'll go out with it. Wouldn't be surprised if I end up with it before too long! :thumb:

It's in my garage now.............all safe 'n sound!

I'll have to get it cleaned up a bit more and post some REAL pics!

And thanks to my bro JW for giving me the list of 50 questions to find out about the boat before I bought it. Too bad it's 6:36pm, I'd go out in it right now!

That looks like a ton of fun. Runs in the mid 50s or so.. ??

The previous owner said it'll show 55 on the speedo with the faster prop, but he's never GPS'd it. I believe JW figured it's more like 52 (I think that's what he said). I'll have bring the GPS when I get the faster prop on. He left the "quicker" prop on and said he thinks it shows around 48 or 49 on the speedo. Seems like a big drop so who knows exactly!

Not the best pics, but it'll have to do for Day 1!

First pic with with the tow rig:

...and a little better one of the boat!

Great looking Mate! I love how even the shorter boat carry on with the sleek low-profile look.

Come up to Roosevelt this coming Saturday. My fiance and I will be up there with our Sea-Doos but not the Starflite this time.

Very nice! My wife was just asking me when we were going to take it out! I like the idea of Saguaro since it's 30min away. I'll have to GPS Roosevelt, can't be too much farther!

I hear Saguaro is for pontoon boats....it has a ton of no wake zones (about half the lake if I heard correctly).

Canyon is a bit better (nice scenery) but still kinda cramped/crowded to have fun in a fast boat.

Apache is my personal favorite but there's a long dirt road to get there no matter which way you go.

This will be my first time to Roosevelt but I hear it's very nice....and no driving on the dirt to get to it. ;)

Nice looking mate, great color combo. I think Eagle makes one of the nicest trailers I have pulled. Now sent that SS off to get color matched to the boat!! :D
