boatn70

Well-known member
Well, I bought a 2003 Pulse 210 the other day, now its time to make it run a little faster of course. Only been on the water once so far and its needs a little something.

do these things need more setback...anyone got any experience here?

http://checkmate-boats.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17694

I think im looking to add some setback at some point soon, I need to check for length of hydraulic lines for steering. anyone got suggestions if i need to lengthen them???

heres a couple photos of what ive got, its a board members boat that was for sale here a while back.

Well you got your bowrider, nice clean ride. That would be a easy tow down to Cumberland in July!Congrads!!!!!!

p.s. Touch'e justincase.

well, evidently it wasnt a production boat in 2003 but this one was made special order at the time. its a clean boat! hard to pass up!

thanks for all the congrats!
now, im thinking of 10" of setback, but, i need to address longer hydraulic lines for the steering. not a big issue though.
guess i gotta try it and see!!

also, anyone got any ideas on dressing up the outside.....the stripes are a little plain but i dont want crazy either, just thinkin of adding something else in there!

how can i get a new logo and horse head, i think thatd look better, never really a fan of the letter font used on this year.

It needs a lot of set back, set that egg beater back on the shelf and stick a BBC in it.roflrofl.gif

its a tough decision but as long as its running like no other, ill take either one!! egg beaters are way easy compared to BBC, my backs in bad shape and it aint as easy climbing in and out of those hatches anymore, however, i aint giving up on it yet!!!

the biggest thing for me is the sound!! gonna miss the V8! :(

thats a good lookin boat!! :thumb:

BUT, arent you supposed to get a bigger boat when you sell one?? :poke:

i really liked that 242 you had, i would have loved to have it

Great looking boat! I bet its really clean. I think that 10 or 12" setback is on the right track... but don't know for sure with those hulls?

I've always thought it would look nice to fill in the stripe on the side with black in the center, or somthing like that too add some contrast to the graphics... I do love those graphics the way they are and probably wouldn't mess with it if it was mine.

Call the factory and talk to Mike, he can for sure set you up with that. I needed a set for my Eluder rebuild, they were on my porch almost before I got off the phone.

Nice looking boat, by the way.

Can you post a picture of how your hydraulic lines are now, including one with the motor turned like you are making a right hander.

i can try and get some pics of the hydraulic lines, give me time, but i will.

I also am thinkin about filling in that space between the stripes, funny, i was just doing it on paper tonight before i got online.

can anyone help me out with some photo shop skills and fill it in and give me some options....???????

thanks all!

It ain't quite the same, but look at this one for an idea of how'd it look- just have to picture the different colors. I think it would look nice:

Also, this has to change: "nada....nothing....boatless and shopping!!"

Just busting your balls, I know its going to be a nice change for a bit not having to deal with the I/O crap. Plus the smaller boat is easier all around.
