This is my friends new project 1980 Hondo pickle fork V-drive. He has wanted one for years and it looks like he found a good one. It should run at or over 100 mph :yell: Don't think the Po-Po is gonna like this boat much :)

V-Drive Hondo Hydro

The boat is cleaning up well. We have the seats out now so we can clean the floor, gear box and rail mounts. Not that much that needs done to this boat but we want to go over it good before installing the engine.

Ok Scott sat the 468 down in the hydro last weekend. It's looking really good but he had to make some engine changes first. He had to change the oil pan, oil pump and pick up tube. Had to change the timing chain, timing chain cover and go to a cam driven water pump.

Yep it crazy!
The carbs and hilborn scoop are way taller than the top of your head when you sit down in this thing
I like sitting down in a boat, not so much on top of one. Looks like it's gonna be a CRAZY summer!

Need to tie those vacume secodaries together to get those carbs to work right on the tunnel ram....need peice...Rob

This set of 650's runs well togrther, turns 5,500 when flat footen the jet at about 80. Should smack the 6,000 rev limiter at about 100 in the V-drive
