Got my manual for the motor today. Its an actual service manual. I'm thinking I should have got Suzuki outboards for Dummies.

No, a dummy wouldn't have bought the manual. It's a good manual, I've rebuilt my LU, Carbs and removed the oil injection so far and it still runs great.

I've had a Suzuki 2 stroke on my boat for a couple years with no problems at all. I have even modified it. They are long stroke motors that don't like alot of RPM's from what I hear. People talk **** about them but I love mine. Scott.

My newest manual should be here Monday. From what I've seen and read so far this should be a hell of a motor.

I'm gonna go get my motor stand today, so I can unhook from my rafters and move this out of the way and get back to building a boat.

It also figures that I buy this one, and a Merc 175 comes up for sale with a boat attached for $800
Its house payment week, or I'd be on my way to get it right now. But if its still there at the end of the month, I might just grab it.
