Welcome to the club. I have a 75 trimate 2 as well. Boat is rated for 150. prior owner had put a 175 on mine. Now its a worked 200, stick says 150 lol. Boat has gone thru a complete overhaul and is currently in the dog house. May have to dig it out and finish it in the fall.

Got any extra parts, I’m looking for windshield frame someone cut off the last 30 inches that runs down along the side also did they come with a center flip up windshield door to move to front or back of boat.

The aluminum frame on the top originally should have extended past the windshield a couple of inches. It was coupled onto the side braces that attached to the gunwales. The walk thru windshield center is hinged and bolted to the left side frame. I'm thinking you'd probably be better off trying to find the whole windshield assembly from someone that was parting out an old CM. Just my thoughts, Jim :thumb:

Thanks for the insight and I’m gonna have to agree with you that would definitely be easier then trying to piece what I have back together with that said does anyone out there have the entire windshield set up for a 1975 checkmate.

I had a 76 trimble, thought it was a II. center windshield held in with 4 plastic knobs that you turn 90 degrees to remove whole center window. Even my 87 starlinger is like that
