1975 Vmate restoration

There are still a few minor things that need to be done like install the 12 gallon fuel tank and hook up the speedo and fuel gauge . I have the tach working and to me that's the most important gauge right now . Its sure been a long haul and a lot of miserable days working in the heat . Its taken 3 years to get to this point and I never thought I would ever see this boat look like this . Sammie was always there pushing me to keep going even when I was aggravated and didn't even want to keep working on it , But that's what friends do . If it wasn't for him I know I would have gave up along time ago . But again I am very happy I got to save a Action Marine Checkmate . Action Marine was a part of my childhood and It was a place you were ALWAYS treated like family . My family and I are truly blessed to have a long time friend like Sammie in our lives and It all started with a 1977 Black and silver trimate II . Sammie again thank you for all your help and friendship over the years . I couldn't have done this with you my friend ........ Will

Very freaking nice

Hey Will,

Looking great. Love how you dropped the hammer taking off. I wanted to ask before but knew you had a breaking in period...

What kind of numbers are you running???

I've had it over 50 mph but haven't really pushed it passed that yet . I have only had it in the water a few times so still running double the oil and making sure she gets some hours on her before I go out and beat the Hell out of it ... But she is running good and when you drop the hammer she will put you back in the seat . I love the sound of the Inlines when they scream . It sure is a unique sound ...
