1st Checkmate and new to the site

I was at Belleville lake two weeks ago with one of my Checkmates and seen a Sport fire just like this . They were dropping in as I was pulling mine out ....

That's a very nice lake you have up there. I was so focused on checking out this boat that I didn't notice any other boats. Haha

Wow small world . I have only been on Belleville lake a few times . Its a good size lake . I usually boat in northern Michigan where my lake home is . But Belleville is pretty close to where I am so I will use it a little more . Well Welcome to the forum you do have a very nice Checkmate ...

Thanks for all the hospitality and compliments about the boat. I've already learned a ton from this forum. I think the girlfriend is already getting jealous of the mate. I had to remind her that I still love her more..... Wink wink!

If it was a white dually, that was me. I had to get some welding on the trailer. Took it to pleasant lake on Sunday and had a blast with a few friends that had their boats out. We will have to get together down at Delaware some weekend.

The saying break out another thousand holds true. I've owned this boat for three weeks and I've replaced the gimble housing, shift cable and all bellows, new tires and rims, reinforced some welds on the trailer, and buffed and waxed the hull. Think I'm done until winter when I have the interior replaced.
