I know who runs the Zilwakee launch, its pretty easy to tell if you go there. They have signs posted in several spots. Figure it out.

Also it is actually the Rust Ave. launch, but it is at the end of Lee street.

Wow guys, this must be a really bitchin secret. Please don't tell me and ruin it. (The Lions Club maintains it, but who owns it? :sssh:)

And yes, I was reminded that it's officially the Rust Ave launch when I took a look at the DNR information to find that the DNR thinks Saginaw is responsible for it.

Either the Lee St launch or the launch at the Zilwaukee bridge are good. Those are run by the city of Saginaw and Zilwaukee Township respectively, so state park stickers or boating access site stickers are no good.
I'm planning to show up around 10 or so.

WELL back to your quote. The Rust st launch is RUN by Saginaw Marina. The Zilwaukee launch is RUN by the Lions Club.

Do you even enjoy boating or is it just a formality for your on-line stat checking?

Wait, now I'm the stat checker? The whole purpose of my original quote was to point out that DNR stickers don't work, not to inform people who owns or maintains the launches.

Boating is such a drag! Thankfully there are sites like this to keep me interested in being on the water, enjoying great weather, flying bow up across the water, drinking some cold brew, and hanging out with people who like to have fun.

Matt, you figure out if you can make it yet?

With my lack of a runing boat....I think I am going to Merrill Fest this weekend and do some tractor pulls with the hopped-up Oliver and Allis-Chalmers and drinking way too much beer......See you all next year (Hopefully!).

Long as the weather is good and I can figure out where the launch is ill be out there some where .

I'm really not sure why I even look at weather forecasts any more, but Saturday is *predicted* to be completely clear, high of 74, and 0% chance of precipitation. Take it for what it's worth, but if it turns out like that it sounds perfect to me. Now we just need more people to make it up.

Should be a good time, come on out!!!!

I'll definitely be there, probably at 1145 at the Lee St launch. I may even have a second mate caravaning with me! :sssh:

These are the directions Google recommends:

Anyone know how good the roads are taking the Dixie Hwy exit and Williamson Rd? Looks like it cuts off a couple miles, but I don't know what the speed limits are, and I'd really like to avoid dodging potholes.

Dont take that route, i will take you longer to. Its less miles but theres a lot of stop and go, speed zones etc... and the roads are GARBAGE!! Btw M-13 is closed just south of the launch. Take 75 to 46

STill havent dicided which launch ill be at yet . Seems like every one will be at lee st . Never been out on the saginaw so this will be interesting
