Shoot you know I'll be there.

I have never been to Bud Bash but, I hear the boats get trashed and if your driving..... no drinking. I will be on the river on the 7th!!!

I would only take your boat to bud bash if you want pontoons rubbing gouges in your gel coat, random people tromping all over your boat spilling stuff, and getting hastled by the water pigs. The cops are getting worse, and the only boat to take there is one you don't mind getting trashed.....cause it will happen.

I'm game if I can get my boat to float in time. Hope you guys don't mind my ugly Mate hanging around before the exterior gets redone. :poke:

By the way, did anyone invite CheckThis before his bannishment?:rof:

If I am driving up for this then you are also! Even if I have to stop and drag you up there with me, your going!

CheckThis...... LOL, now thats funny!

We should see about getting a couple slips at the marina next to Hooters so we could all get some wings and not have to worry about dock space.

That weekend shouldn't be too bad.....usually just pull up to the dock, give them five bucks.....go to your slip, and your set. Of course then as the evening progresses.....it is a very short walk from that marina to the Midland St. bar district :banana:

I'm going to try to get up there for the 7th. Might not have a checkmate by then, but I'll be easy to spot - the big white boat that looks like every other non-check out there. Daniels and I will keep our ugly boats out of the pictures!

The new boat should be ready for the water in a week. I'm either going to go down to Bellville or maybe head up to saginaw to run it a little.

I've been thinking a lot about getting the boat out lately. Unfortunately, thinking doesn't get any work done. I have a big hunch that I'll just finish prepping the deck behind the seat, but leave the finishing for next winter. I still have to do some minor reconditioning on all the seat plywood, and new bearings, wheels, tires, and lighting for the trailer.

Looking forward to seeing the river this year!

Just fired the ol' girl up this afternoon. Much to my delight, after I remembered to re-attach the plug wires, she started right up. Now I have some extra incentive to get moving on the rest of the little things.

Anyone been out yet in MI?

I brought my boat home this weekend . Trying to get some things done before I put her in the water .

You planning to make it up to Saginaw this year Will? I'm the only mate with an inline- way outnumbered by all the V6s.
