Hello fellas... Looking for some guidance here after doing a fair bit of searching/reading on the Pulsare 2400. (Wildman, I have been all over your page too and watched your vids A lot!
.... And see where mid 70's seems to be average out of the box)
Quick backdrop- I just bought a gorgeous 2014 Pulsare 2400 Long Deck (the one Checkmate had at the Miami boat show) from Dean at Checkmate- great buying experience. It has a 300XS on it with a 4 blade Trophy Plus (25 pitch- I think) prop. Motor is "broken in" now...with about 13 hours on it...and I can only seem to hit 65mph (gps)... With me and girlfriend...and a 1/2 tank of gas in it...with no chop. Live in Ohio, so altitude shouldn't be an issue.
Any suggestions? Seem right? Prop changes suggestions? Motor still need more time? Any magic pixie dust?
Thanks in advance!
