Its looking good. Once you flip the hull over and start on the gelcoat the real fun begins.

Maybe that's why I've been dragging my feet on this part. ;) :sssh:

I'm fairly confident using all the resources available, I'll be able to turn out a pretty good product - or I'll burn it to the ground! :eyecrazy:

I've got a good idea of the color combo's I want to go with finally too! Shall remain super secret.

Looking real good, are going to run the same paint scheme?

Thanks. Nope, gonna be totally different, totally awesome hopefully! :bigthumb:

Thinkin about keeping the scheme super secret for a bit, or at least until I start gelling it.

are you kidding me? compare the pics on this page to the pics on page one........now that's dedication! it's really come a long way BADBK:thumb: keep it up

hahaha, that's what I say everytime I go out there and STILL HAVE TO FIBERGLASS MORE!!!!!! never ending it seems...

Just ordered 2 more gallons of epoxy and 2 gallons of poly. That will be 10 gallons of epoxy for those keeping score at home. Will use the poly w/cab o sil to fill the swiss cheese holes and all stress cracks in the top half.

Got the floor/transom, stringers fiberglass all done... P-77'd the floor to smooth it out. Hope to have it sanded smooth purdy quick.

Found a smokin deal on a Mercury 225 Opti, seal the deal this week. Not a 300, but for what it is and the price, I can use it for a couple seasons until I find a 300XS.

Looking for:
Dock lights, full size like those on old 'Mates
Sea Star Hyd Steering
Merc controls
10-12" jackplate Hyd or man
Someone to do a sh!tton of sanding while I drink beer and watch....

Well when you go for the 300 let me know I can always use a 2nd 225 to rebuild the old one that I have, oh and I think the lexan and the frame that I fixed will work after all,

When you find that Sum Beech send him my way when you're through with em'.

Congrats on the motor...

If I find em first, you can guarantee I ruin em! Prob gonna have to settle for beer breaks while I sand my fingers to the bone. :shakehead:

Mota is an '01 w/ 2010 reman powerhead, 2010 l/u, w/warranty still. Under 60 hours, should be bada$$. Have reciepts for over $8k worth of warranty work + new l/u. Guy found a great deal on a 250xs so he's upgrading a tad bit.

oh come now, your not selling her are you, dont give up, even though its hard to do at times, I am almost done with mine just put the windshield back on and going to go through the motor, hope to have her in the water this weekend. keep up the good work.:thumb:

Wouldn't say it's hard to do, just very hard to find the time... I know I'm getting real close too. Got the interlux primecoat and bilgecoat on the way for the floor. Once it's flipped off the trailer I can't see myself not finishing. If someone were to show me the money right now, I'd prob take it though.

225 Opti should be here by end of the week.

Need to find front docking lights, BIG ones, holes for mine are 7 1/2'' x 4 1/2" ?? or real close. All the others I've seen are much smaller.

Love to find a like new used SeaStar Pro system...
