a shout out for C-Hawk trailers

I dont care who you are you can't sell crap if you dont answer the phone or return calls back shortly. Its smart business practice,, somebody wanting to buy a trailer is not going to keep calling for days to get a answer they will go somewhere else. And thats what I did when I needed a part for my trailer.

Trailer building is not rocket science once the jig is built. I was 100% satisfied with my C-Hawk trailer. But customer relations needs big improvement.

Just facts like it or not :thumb:

I always get what I need for sure. Just takes a little time. I do have to agree with Big Red on this one though. :cheers:


Although it takes some persistence to get to him, Dave hasn't let me down yet. I have ordered a few things from him in the past year or two.

I think Dave is sort of a one-man-band over there. Obviously, there is more than one employee at C-Hawk, but it appears that he is involved in every detail.

They need a little help for sure. They thought I had not paid my invoice once for wheel center caps. I had to look it up and tell them the check number. All was good though. I got what I needed.

Another SHOUT OUT for c-hawk,have 1997 280ZT & trailer getting rough & was looking into new trailer purchase & checked with Dave & Jon since met them a few years back @ their Poker Run. Decided to redo mine & glad I did -LOOKS great & GREAT price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looked into other trailers & redo around my area & well worth my drive to them apprx.550 miles round trip to drop off & 550 to pick up. I had great communication with them & they are smaller shop & have downsized due to economy & may be busy-so be patient & you will be HAPPY.Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!
 
Are they still in business, I thought somebody said Checkmate stopped useing them awhile back. I like their trailers and hope its not true.
 
Yes,still in business & not as busy as years past. Sounds like only 2-3 people working. Yes Checkmate/Baja had agreement ? with another trailer company & using them & c-hawk. Sounds like boat sales down also- only few boats sold through spring/summer this year?

i ordered a trailer about a month ago, talked with dave several times since then.
called him today (wed) hoping to pick my trailer up on monday, but the disc brakes aren't in yet so maybe next wednesday!
