Aired Out Checkmates

Call me an a$$ but i do not see doing wheelies as being aired out! Aired out to me would be your boat at 90 mph light on the pad and hauling the mail!!
Bingo!

A wheelie ain't aired out.

Not a Mate but even my old pig can do a wheelie.
A wheelie, anyone in any boat can do. Ever see the guys in the 12' aluminum boats w/a 15 hp do one?? Search youtube.

To be "aired out" requires, power, set up and skill. Two completely opposite feats.

For your reference:

Lots of great pics here, I have enjoyed this tread since it began. Keep posting pics, either "wheelie" or "aired out", I like them all.

I'm going to argue that this one shouldnt be included . At first glance its pretty impressive but its not really done under power as much as he's running in choppy water and is getting air off the chop. Powering off the prop and keeping it straight on the rear of pad is one thing but bouncing off waves and getting a pic taken at the right time is something any boat can do.

You'd be wrong.

Was going faster than you think. I was there.
That hull is under 300lbs and is wicked fast.

That's a good friend of mine and is one of the most talented people I know.
He is physically handicapped and rigged the boat for all hand controls.

He grafted two Chrysler cowlings together for his Merc after they turned him down for sponsorship in his racing :rof:
He named it the "Chizzler".
A friend of mine raced that boat w/a full zoot 2.5 on juice. When it was in the water it was evil.

His latest project is a home made, mid engine, big block powered min van.

He is on disability and has no money so he has to scrounge for everything.
He raced that boat at an event I used to host and it had a drag plate/planning plate made out of a stop sign :p
Love that guy.......
