Blinker issue

All the lights seem to work on the trailer but no blinkers. Should I check the grounds first? I haven't checked anything yet so I don't have any more info to provide but I thought folks might be a little bored. :D

The grounding is always a good place to start with trailer light issue. A poor ground connection could be a likely culprit.

1. The proprieties must be observed. Check beverage, then TTD's.
2. Check grounds, both at trailer and vehicle.
3. In most cases, this should satisfy the issue.
4, A conspicuous absence of pink may contribute to a reverse/inverse osmodic lack of proper current flow. Keith has awesome decals to rectify this possible scenario, I'm just sayin...

Check fuses in truck. I know there are separate fuse for trailer brake lights and I think there's also fuses for trailer turn. Pretty sure it's in the under hood box but may be on side of dash.

get yourself a $5.00 12 volt tester. first check the truck to see if its sending out right info / then go to the tail lights and see if the info is making all the way back there. if it does then its the bulb. its not being bored as it is being hungover:brickwall::brickwall:

If the brake lights on the trailer work then it's not the bulbs, they brake and turn is the same filament inside the bulb.

Also, if I might add, you can purchase a nifty little tester that plugs into the vehicle plug that shows whether the plug on the vehicle is working correctly by lighting up the corresponding little LED light in the plug in tester. This would narrow your search to the area aft (boating reference) of the trailer hitch. The four pin on the truck has the LED lights built right in, makes it real easy to find out which way to look when the trailer lights don't do what they are supposed to do. They make a cool little brush for cleaning the inside of the four pin connectors too. The connectors get pretty corroded from road grime and such. I've been known to use a wire that I clamp to the negative side of the tow vehicle battery and run back to the trailer frame and clamp on to a clean spot. If the lights now work, you know that you are looking for a ground issue.

Lights!

I would just be happy if they worked, with or without the blinkers. If ground is bad nothing will work.

Check your plug adaptor that goes into ur truck. I had to bend the tabs over one time because I wasn't getting a good connection.

blinkers are optional... so is a right side break light..

plus, anyone around you will be in such awe of your checkmate that they won't even see the trailer lights anyway...
