Central Michigan Mates

merc245 i know what you mean about the wings and pistons ive decided just to wax the boat in between periods of hockey and take it out once we have won the cup :thumb:

~Waves~ hello to everyone in Michigan , I'm in NE Indiana and love to play on the lakes. I hear there is a big party on Coldwater Lake in July called " Korn Fest " My buddy that has gone says it's a Wild Party ~winks~. I'm gonna have my Trimate II back together in July. I will say the lakes around here are up to 4.65 + a gallon, and it's not even peak season yet. I'm ready to take a loan to go play lol, I'm ready to feel the rush of the speed and air from flying across the water.

WE normally go on our local Lake here in Clare county, or Isabella county.

We have family of 5 .so I am sure you single guys or just married people dont wanna hang out with us :) lol

June 21 is the Country music concert on Ojibway Island in Saginaw, I am pretty sure the Bay City River Roar is the same weekend. The Saginaw river should be a blast that weekend.

i know..... i planed on going to the island from vet's in bay city, but i think that launch will be closed up for the races:irked:. it should be a cool weekend.....country in the moring, and ratt and roll in the evening:thumb:

awsome day! made it out to boaters beach on the bay.............wish i had my camera;)..... there was a lot to look at! i had a few blue and silver sodas so the chop was not near as big on the way out as on the way in ....... if you know what i mean...........i think the miami vice music came on while on the way back. good times with only memories and sun burn to show for it.

little rough? man the wind kicked up here fast and turned me away from putting the boat in! i was gunna head 10miles up the bay for lunch and i'm glad i decided on a nap to cure my hang-over from last night! got up and the wind was blowing 25plus mph!!!!! 3-4footers on the bay.......it is still 82though!

So I FINALLY have all the bugs worked out of my boat and will be hitting the river this weekend. Ended up taking it in and having the motor aligned and the outdrive reinstalled. Best money I have spent in a long time.

Anyhow, this weekend is going to be jumpin on the Saginaw river.

I'm gonna have my Starflite on Higgins this upcoming weekend at south shore near the park, then again from July 26 - Aug 9.

Saw a few posts about Sanford lake; I'm doing the triathlon there on Aug 16, maybe I'll take the boat there to chill out afterward. Are there any decent maps avail online for that lake?
