"Wanted" CHECKMATE 13' PLAYMATE GT

Here's one you might check out. He had it listed on Ebay back in July, but the reserve wasn't met. The bids got up to $2024.00. So if you could get it for the right price it might be worth a relaxing fall road trip. I know it's quite a drive from Houston, but as rare as these seem to be it might be worth checking out. Good luck on your search.:thumb:Jim

Forget this one , I did some more checking and it looks like he re-listed it and it sold. Jim

Thx guys. I saw the black one sold and I am in contact with the blue one but it has soft flooring and I am a bit worried. I plan on have the boat shipped if not within 300 miles

Yeah I saw that. Not what I'm willing to pay, sry.

I could buy his molds and build my own lol

I'm looking for a checkmate playmate. Not a knockoff though that particular one is rather awesome. Most of the fantasy boats were not as well made.

Nope Steve though $8000 might be a fair price for a nice example. I do not believe it is as well built as the hand laid checkmate but sure looks nice.

BTW it did not "Sell" as the reserve was not met.

Now if you can find a way to get your boat to Houston we might be able to deal. :)

Though I would need to find a 40hp O/B

I do still have the GT . Planning on disassembling the windshield this spring and have the channeling powder coated . Running the HydroStream this year . You could fly into BWI , rent a truck , home in two days ... :thumb:
