Checkmates NEW 40 footer

I guess I would be, I do have the whole story and who's money do you think is funding it? Mine, Not yours! I have put my entire life on hold for this project. I understand when you have nothing invested it is easy to voice your opinion, just make sure you do so on facts. I am well aware that this is a site about Checkmates as I live and breath it everyday as the largest dealer they have. So with that being said you will have the whole story soon.
Jeff , i live in Holland , and are you the one that purchased the old Areo Tec Molds at one time.....that phil once owned , and re sold them again ?

Wow, more dramatic, behind closed doors secretiveness than I would have ever expected out of the boating industry. Sounds like checkmate should have footed the bill for a big curtain to avoid all this rumor milling. Keepin the winter hot around here though :bounce:

Jeff, hope it works out well for you, cant wait to hear the facts/see it come together :surf:

You and I both, very exciting but do not want to release anything too early without all the testing done etc. We want a MAJOR success which it will be, but some things take some time.

WOW!
i didnt see that coming, I hope all works out well, and look forward to seeing the results!!

Wrong Jeff, never had the Aero molds, but have seen them sitting in a field close by....
Jeff from what i understand those mold's have been sold to a gentlemen in Florida ,and just curious....... why did you have Check do this build for you conserding you could have had this done somewhat locally by Saber which at the moment is slow like most Boat Co's in this area .

We are the largest Checkmate dealer at this time and I believe so much in the brand that I wouldn't dream of anyone else doing it. This will not be one and done, we are looking forward to a great future.

I certainly hope so and best of luck! That should be a beautiful boat! I can't wait to see the results. I hope you make them for years to come so when I hit the lotto I can order one. Teaming up in this endeavor might be the ticket to ride out the hard times in this industry.

This is sweet!

I might buy my next Checkmate from this guy (oth) just for being so loyal to the brand!

Carry on... ;)

Very excited!!!

Congrats to whoever is building it and whatever it happens to be.
So will this nameless boat make it to Miami?
Last time i checked, CM was not listed as a brand that will be at Miami at all and that bummed me out... I could underastand if they don't go, I'm sure it is not cost effective. So will ther be ANY checkmates at the Miami show?

I can only speak for us as a dealer and we will not be there (which means the big boat will not either), was hoping to but will have to wait until next year. Would loved to have had several boats there, but could not make a commitment with things unfinished. Unfortunately that also sacrificed our local show which would have been at the same time and that is out now too. Will have to make due at the showroom this year. Thanks for all of the support.

I think we're pushing a little hard for info right now. I know everyones excited but I think Jeff is trying to keep some secrets until completion and the boat is revealed. But if there are any pics could you post some up?

Oh yeah, that'll fly; "I'm trying to keep this secret until completion but in the meantime let me post some pictures just to shut you guys up".
Because everyone knows that if he posts some pictures everybody will just shut up respectfully for a while.
Mums the word.
