Delaware river - Sept 22

No harm no foul. Everyone that spends time on the water will run aground at one point or another. Some admit it, others won't.

It is a good video... should I post it?
If ya want. It's not the first time I've run aground. Fortunately never damaged. I'm usually trimming up real fast as it happens and fortunately no rocks, just silt/sand.
But if you're trying to get the college fund started it's not workin'.:poke::)
Was I at least starting to steer out to port as I trimmed and was thinking "oh sh*t"?
This happened to me once before, if you'll recall. Also low tide in the beginning of the summer when you and I met up on the Delaware.
Right around where your friends house is.
Hey, if it's worth watching then post it!

Too far away to see the finer details of which way you were steering, but you can see the engine trimmed WAY up.

I can say I have run aground several times, but never in the mate or on the Delaware. They were all on the Barnegat Bay...

Anyway, here is the video... I don't blame John for backing out one bit- I would have done the same thing.

They are fantastic pictures - Thanks Satasha! :)
No, they are interesting and fun. They would have been fantastic if the boats were where they were SUPPOSED TO BE!!!!!!
We need more practice.
Where's everyone gonna be next weekend?
Dave, you up for a drive? Brian's back feeling better?

Here's what I'm thinkin'.... Bob still up front but jet down........lined up side to side for start and just bring em up on plane....more precise.....slower...... oh, never mind. We'll figure it out next weekend.
What time we meeting?

Definitely not up for that drive in the near future ......

Thanks for asking sim, just got back from getting a spinal injection. I think I'm about done for the season. Going to watch the ceaser creek ****out, then might pump some antifreeze through the motors at the ramp.

The enchanter might be getting a small power upgrade after Robbie does the core repair. Looking for 10mph, I'd love 15mph!! :) I got the leaf blower ready to provide my boost, lol

Come on down to Virginia. I found you another gem...

:brickwall: CRAP why can't that be closer to me. I could take everything out of this deckboat and have it back up and going quick. :irked: man that sucks :irked::brickwall::brickwall:

Try uship and see what the rates are. If it's close to Chris you can probably have him take a quick look at it.

i found the real video of you and your boat from 9/22 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MA-k2eatbTI&feature=related
