That is the correct date.........more of a demo day thing but he wanted to try and make some type of poker run out of it. Just the messenger .....you now what they say - don't shoot....... Where were you guys last weekend ? I was @ sand bar sat & sunday weather was perfect ! KC

We were at Lake Cumberland Fri night thru Mon afternoon!
Great time! We will be on Lake Erie for the P.I.B. New Year
deal 9/12 thru 9/14. We gona see you there?

It's a shame we got so little notice about it because we'd
have probably been there, that's right here in our neck of
the woods but the P.I.B. deal should be rockin', I'm looking
fwd to it! We will have a total of 5, maybe 6 boats with
our crew and 3 of them are Checkmates!

That's more like it, I think I can make that happen! Could you give
more specific info or is there some place to access any info?

Btw, the website for Pleasant Valley Marine has a great photo of
a kick*ss 251 on the front page, of all the pics to choose from
they sure made a nice selection. That must have been your
doing, huh Kip.. You heading North for the NY party?

i really really want to make it. I am a bigger fan of rivers than lakes. its only a 2.5 hr drive for me.

pass any info you have. i dont want to flood the guys phone with calls.

I hope you make it down illMATTic - here's what I've been told:

Driver's meeting 9am at Watertown Marina, Dayton Ky. which
is across the river from the East end of Cincinnati. There will
be a run up and then down the river. Lunch will be served at
the Marina in between. After the poker run there will be a demo
then dinner and socializing. That is the extent of what I know
about it.

From the Ohio side I figure Schmidt fields boat ramp would be
a good place to put in, they have a pretty decent ramp there
and ample parking.

How about you Merc245, you coming down?

Not sure I'll be able to swing it. I forgot I'll be down in WV doing some whitewater rafting on the Upper Gulley the weekend before sat-mon.Have you ever gone its a good time.

If I go Sat the 4th it will be a LOW-DOE-GO for sure.Sleeping in the truck,Fast Food,Cheap Beer.And I'd have to be home Sunday morning for work.

But I done crazier stuff than that.So my ansewer is ??????

Well I worked a little overtime today and I advised (asked) the wife that I was going down to Cinnci on Oct 3/4 for a run on the Ohio river.And she agreed(she was out with the girlfriends tonite). She asked "Aint that water brown?".
So it looks like I'll be down for at least fri-sat and I'll put in for 12 hrs of vacation for Sunday so I'll can hang till sun morning. I just have one request. Take it easy on me, The starflight is getting a little rough around the edges at this point. I will have new duct tape where needed. But about 2 weeks ago after 14yrs I took a huge hunk out of the skag. I'm even embarassed to drive it down the street with a hunk out like that.
So count on one more in,I'll look forward to being demo'ed in a 25 fter since I've actually never been in one before.
I'll have the tank full,cooler full,CD Case full and a full charge on the batteries and hope to see U there!!

P.S. the wife wants me to say, That I really can do what I want to do its not up to her! (she's the cool wife)unfortunate she won't be making the trip because she really is a whole lot of fun,way more fun than me!!!!!!!!
