Anybody planning on attending the Detroit MI
boat show? Starts next weekend.....
Me and my wife and friends got a hotel room near the greek town casino,so hopefully if the boat show stinks we can win some money:eyecrazy:
Has anybody ever attended this in the past? worth the trip or no?

Its held at the cobo hall in detroit...tickets are $11.00 starts febuary 10th - 18th
you can look it up online and get more info, sounds like a good time.

I won't tell you not come and enjoy the show. But theres a serious lack of affordable performance boats(If there is such a thing) for several yrs now.

But its a good show otherwise lots of larger boats, some offshores, and tons of trailerd choppergun specials with the fishing rigs taking up more space every year. And as always the venders are willing to sell u anything.

I find the antique boats the best part of the show.

p.s. I like GreekTown casino the best.:rof:

I'm heading to what is probably the same show tonight in Birmingham, AL. It's a lot of fun if you are like me and just love looking at what all's out there in the boating world these days. I wouldn't trade any of them for my Checkmate though!

I went to the most recent Tampa boat show and it was very sad.
Nothing but center consels and jet skis.
Seen one seen them all.

I'd like to see some pics of some woodies! Put 'em up in the vintage boating section. :)
