Its close by, its cheap, I could sell the motor and get back some of my money.

R U crazy, How much work you looking for?

I would generally agree with the 3 negative posts ahead of me.
I'm sure there is a market for old Baha stuff but I wouldn't buy a Checkmate in that shape.
I'm not sure I would let someone give me one like that. Dumping money into something I want to keep is one thing, trying to make money on that has to be nearly impossible.

You better love it

Coop, would Baja have bought the deck moulds back then as well?

Or did they just get the hull moulds and make up their own deck moulds.

I think I recall the deal being something along the lines of Baja weren't supposed to make any flake boats as well too, but I think later they did or something like that.

I made an offer, we'll see if he takes it.

If Wildman can put a 225 on a Playmate, this one should be able to take a 150 Zuki. :poke:

I can attest to this...they made flake boats...not sure when they started nor when they ended.

I have heard from others that Baja bought a few of the smaller 14-16' hull moulds back in the early 70's, not sure of models, quantity or when they ceased?
