is your rear seat still bolted in? If not you could possibly reach up and around the engine to get that center bolt out.

I assume you saying from fuse to actuator that you've already tested the switch and verified you are getting power to there?

A handful had releases on them. I'm guessing if yours did you would know.
I'd try bypassing the switch and trying it hot wired touching the wires streight to the battery see if it opens. The switches go bad.

Back seat bolted in. Originally put in new switch. Then jumped out the switch. I then checked the power wire and fuse. Jumped out the fuse portion. Checked wire with ohm meter found open wire No continuity. There are no quick pins on the actuator. I am really surprised at such a poor design. Very fustrated.

get the bolts out of the hinges, may have to drill of cut them and lift from there, I use a quick release on the hatch side, but still would not be fun to get to...now my 251 I had a scoupe on it that made easy to reach thru..

I had this happen this year, before I knew there was a release pin to get the hatch open if the motor failed, I got pissed and lifted up on the motor hatch popping the plastic piece out of the steel ram.

Glad you got it open. Maybe use a pull pin when you put it back and bill Checkmate for your time. lol Someone wasnt thinking when they did that set up.

I think i might have one....let me check in my glove compartment of my truck, or if you order a new motor from lenco it usually comes with two, mine did when i replaced it this year, i got the part number and did a google search, everyone wanted $300+, I happened to find mine from http://www.baitnhook.net/ for i believe it was $265 with a free ride.
