I think about a month or so ago there was an 03-04 300 with dual 502's for $20,000. If you really want one that might have been a better starting point?

At $10,000 you could do OK, but I think it's always better with boats to buy them done and find someone who really wants to sell. Unless you're like Coop and just love working on them or want to do it as a business.

In this boats case I think the owner wants to sell but does not really want to sell, the get it out of here price is 7-9,000.

Do you really like the colors and graphics on that one? Some of these old graphics look really dated. Even when you get them shined up, it looks like it was from the 70's or 80's The teal or light blue and light purple stripes don't age very well to my eye.

I can tell ya about what it would cost to ditch the twin boat anchor big blocks and throw a couple of LS's in it. That would be a sweet boat with couple of aluminum 500hp LS2's and wouldn't weigh much more than a single big block boat. Plus the smaller LS's would make maintenance a ton easier!!

Probably made them up himself, and used the wrong terminal ends. If you look close at the engine, it's an assortment of mis-matched parts.

IMHO: 40 year old project boat priced about $3000 - $3500 over what it is worth. Looking at the rear seats and floor area, I'd say the area is rotting/rotted out. Or close to it.
