February 2012's Boat of the Month Nominations!

February 2012's BOTM Nominations (Please Choose Two)

I guess what I am trying to get at is this. If the pic was of a ragged out boat with no motoer or interior and 12 different colors of paint brushed on and half the windshield was missing, but there was a couple of nice palm trees in the background and five girls with big boobs and skimpy bikini's around the boat all with a can if your favorite beer in hand, and that what you like, then that's what you would boat for. You have that right. But that is not "boat" of the month. I have said it before and I will say it again, this forum was started for the love of the boats, but is becoming less and less about them every day. Just saying? Nothing personal toward anyone, I just see less focus on the boats. It is easy to get side tracked.
Well, that explains why I got nothing for Bear Of The Month. Maybe if he was in a bikini? Yellow mohawk? Nipple rings?

Maybe some nice palm trees in the background........
Did I mention that he loves to water ski?

It's pics like this that show how background and camera skills can make a very nice looking boat look look great on a computer screen. Not trying to offend anyone but this backdrop proves that the setting a boat is shot in can truely up the level of it's appearance. I'm sure it looks good on a trailer but it looks great here.

Great photo of a beautiful boat. But it got votes because it is a great looking boat. Not because of who it belongs to or how many bikini babes are on it. Just saying, boats should win BOTM because of the boat, not because of what click you belong to or what your wife or girlfriend or your buddy's wife looks like. It has went from best looking boat to how can I distract everybody from the boat and get more attention for whats with it or around it. Not trying to start a war or pizzing contest, I just think "we" have lost focus on what this site is all about to start with. Nothing personal. Notice I said "we".

It's missing something. Like a bikini. Or nipple rings. Maybe a bear in the background.

If you look really close there is a gator smiling at ya';)
I will not say where though.
I remember something about that from when it was first posted but I've never been able to spot it. Is it at the very base of the tree near the bow? So hard for us Jersey boys to spot a gator before it's actually bit.
By the way, that really is a great picture.
Guess #2- far left in the water with a spot of white(reflection?) on the tip of it's snout?
And since I'm just overflowing with questions- what kind of trees? I don't think they're Banyan or Mangrove.

BADBK made a funny.
At least YF knows his role.
I mean who else could throw up a out of focus shot taken from a mile away and still draw 10 votes?
I have a sense of humor so......Poke and you shall be poked back.:poke:

Just to set the record straight "Wasted Income" was a beautiful boat that got my vote on more than one occasion.

I remember someone saying something about a gator also. I can tell you there is no gator in that pic. I was just kidding but there is a lot in that pic that can fool your eye's into thinking you see a gator.:D

Sim, They are Cypress trees and where the trunk starts to flare out is what the water level should be.

If Sim wants to see a bear he oughta come down to that beach and camp out one or two nights. Lots bears in them woods for ya to meet. :)

Can I change my vote??? I'd like to push towards BADBK.. I guess I didn't look close enough.. That is a nice boat.. Needs a second look..
