Fiberglass on gel coat finish- what to do?

Last night I noticed that in my furver to get my stringers installed that I had accidentally gotten some fiberglass resin on the gel coat. Needless to say it had already fully cured. Obviously I can't be the first boob to have done this. I've tried acetone and it doesn't touch it. I was wondering what others may have used to removed it?

It's only a little area and its thin- looks like a hand print. Would a buffing compound be the best option?

Wetsand with 1500 grit then buff it back to a shine. :thumb:

If you're very very careful, I'd say try a razor blade. Make sure the blade is flat on the boat and take it easy. I have done this many times with removing decals and the like with great success.

I got some on my gel coat a few yrs back. Didn't know what to do. left it there. This yr wet sanded for 10 seconds buffed out like never there.
