I am wondering if anyone has disabled the vent. I only ask because I lose a lot of fuel to evaporation. Or is there a check valve type product that I can add to the vent to stop evap?
Thanks,

If you don't have a vent of some type you will end up with engine performance issues.
Also could cause a issue if the tank builds excess pressure when sitting and not in use.
How much fuel loss are we talking about?
You have a leak somewhere.
it's vented, might ck to see it a spider plugged it up, sometimes the way the filler hose is routed or kinked will cause that as wellNot to hijack the thread, but I don't think I have avenged tank. (Just a vented fuel cap) when I fill the boat at the pump it doesn't take much and it starts spitting and chugging fuel back out. Has to be fueled very slowly! Would adding a vent on the tank perhaps help this? Has anyone done this?

If I leave it with a quarter of a tank for a week all that will be gone. That is like 5 gallons.
Is your neighbor drive more????
