Its time...

Stringer is done!!!!!! I glassed it in today used up my first package of cloth and 1st gallon of resin gone now. Next good day I glue in the floor and putty the edges. I was wondering if body filler would work ok on the edging for smoothing the contour? I think I will put off doing the side boxes till next year so I can have some good water time.

Completed all the floor parts today!!!! I started coating the final parts in resin for installation in a few days. I also liked what mer245 said about the block glassed into the bilge for the pump to mount too so I did it.

Looking good wizard!!! I actually enjoyed tearing my boat apart and putting it back together.

This has definately been a great learning experience for me and I am having a good time watching it all come together. I Just finished placing the last floor piece today! I started putting the filler in the cracks and I plan to have that finished by the end of the weekend and the fiberglass also. Next week I will hopefully be putting in the new rubber floor place and reinstall the gas tank seat boxes and all the other goodies.

I like it myself. I almost put the same flooring in my boat after the floor resto, but decided to go back with carpet.

I would skip that floor idea.

I would try grip tape or something and paint it.

You can also pick up fiber glass sheeting from Home Depot for shower stall walls and resin to your wood without using screws just weight the board down and it will behind to your hull shape.

Then cut out sections of a non slip material like grip tape and paint to match your boat.

well I got the tank back in the dash supports installed and got t all ready for kary's I am dropping it off tomorrow wish me luck on the motor. Oh thanks to someone on here I have a nice new stainless bilge fitting on my hull.

Looks good. I was thinking about using rhino liner on my floor. I decided against it because its nice walking on something soft when barefoot. One thing to think about is that is black and in direct sunlight I bet it will get hot enough to fry some bologna (KY round steak) on. I know my black carpet gets damn hot but it offers a cushion to the heat that the rubber won't. The "scrub and squirt out" cleaning is a plus over "scrub, scrub, and more scrubbing to find its stained forever" of the carpet.

well motor is getting delayed for now so I decieded to work on the wood for the seats. Here is the completed bucket and the seats before I started to strip them.
