Johnson V8

I need to prop my Enforcer, 225 Johnson. What motor did you put on yours? Can you suggest or sell a prop?
Joe S.

that trimate would not support the weight very well. i am pretty sure the johnson is up well over 500#.

A Johnson V8 with an off-shore midsection weights 548lbs. & all the weight is at the top. On my starliner the top of the cowl is 40'' above the floor, if you put that on the back of a trimate it would still float. (upside down):brickwall::brickwall:

He's not joking...look at his Avatar. That thing is TALL!

I realize its pointless now, but I went home yesterday & measured my boat. The top of the cowling is 48" above the floor, & the entire powerhead, including lower cowling is above the the top of the splashwell. Go to the thread '' hot mates by Kunkles Marine " on this site, then scroll down to the pic of the starflight with a V8 Evinrude to see just how high the thing sits. I spoke to those guys when I rigged my starliner, & set it up almost identically to that boat. My boat chines pretty bad @ higher speeds. I think its becouse it is so top heavy. That trimate would get ugly quick.
