WILDMAN,these small boats are really fun!!!!! I also along with my 251 check have a 12' hydrostream x-stream with a 50hp. johnson on it, it runs about 48-50mph, but ive never messed with props or motor height. COOL BOAT

We took the little bugger out for a ride today. It now has a 60hp Merc on it. Definitely does'nt run like the 225 did, but we had fun anyway. we went 20 miles and used abour 2-2.5 gallons of gas! Here's a short video.

It has a 16" x 10" dia on it now. Only runs 41 with two people on it.

I put a 15P Mercury Vengeance on mine this week. I have the 40 FORCE, so I'll be much slower with 2 people. Hope to test it soon!

Got boat back today!!!!!!!
picked up boat last night now going into garage for stainless prop and the checkmate trim tabs install.
boat tech who water tested it came back to shop wide eyed and sputtering the boat was sick fast and heard he talked about it all day. Don't that just make ya horny
they work on all sorts of fast boats too they had a 25' BAHA there also (dont know stats)but mine left the impression SWEET thanks all who helped out much thanks and will never beable to repay Viper1 THANKS pics shortly have a few from after put together after paint http://photobucket.com/album/chrisMX-15 will do video of maiden voyage. fly by. got to got ge decals and register her have a great day all
