Whats up guys. My names Damian, im from Bucks County, PA as the title states. As of right now I have a 2009 seadoo rxtx and 2004 yamaha gp800r. Looking to get rid of these soon and into another boat, preferably a checkmate. I grew up on my fathers old enticer with a 115 merc hanging off the back and have loved the water as far back as i can even remember. Not sure if any of you are familiar with the areas but I spend most of my summers on the Delaware in either Lambertville, NJ or more towards Philadelphia at the Neshaminy Park Ramp in Croydon, PA. Hope to learn a lot from this forum and get back in a boat soon.

Welcome to the forum:bigthumb:

There are a few of us here that run around the Delaware in those areas. Some coming from north near Trenton and some coming from the south near Philly. I launch on the Rancocas. We meet up there a few times a year, but I'm out nearly every weekend.

Good luck with your search and if you need any help, everyone here is always willing. Any interest in an Exciter? Pictured below

Welcome! I'm one of the members of the motley crew that Ram is referring to. Look forward to meeting you!

Welcome to the forum wtpanther.
Good luck searching for your new Mate --- this is a great time of year to be looking.
There are actually some real quality Mates being sold {and will be put up for sale} on this forum...
I see for example Ramifications mentioned his exciter in this thread ---- that is a fine example of a quality Mate {they don't get any better than that}.

Maybe let us know what is to your liking in terms of size and money and then the forum members with "for sale" mates can chime in.

Maybe even a ringleader of sorts or at the very least a ringmaster of the circus.

In any case welcome to the forum Damian. I made it down to the Delaware once late this season and despite it being the roughest day Ram could remember we had a good time.

Gonna definitely make it down there again next summer. Can you boat up to Labertville from the south or is it only deep enough for the jet skis? I lived in Flemington, NJ for a while but never got down around Lambertville in the summertime. .

Not possible to boat or even jet ski from the south end up to Lambertville. Wayy too shallow. If you launch at Lambertville and the river is up high enough you can make a pretty nice run up to point pleasant or even upper black eddy. You need to be with someone who knows the river tho bc its really easy to find the bottom if you arent familiar with those waters.

As far as what Im looking to get into, Im still undecided. I love the late 80's convincors. Something i can keep at the dock and hang around on all day and even comfortably spend a night on if i wanted to. And nothing gets my heart going like the loppy growl of a big block. Then again I grew up on that enticer and have always had a soft spot for outboards that i can run up in lambertville (a convincor wouldnt fit up there EVER). So, I guess i have a little soul searching to do lol

Did I talk to you at Raystown lake this summer? You & your wife were looking for the breast of the damn?
