New Member with a possible Checkmate MX-14

Hello,
I'm Remington and am new here, but have read many of the forums and threads here and have seen how knowledgeable you guys are. I'm hoping you guys can identify my boat that I just bought. It's 14 feet long and looks a lot like a MX-13 or MX-15. The boat doesn't have a title and appears to not have any numbers anywhere. Did checkmate make a 14 foot MX-14? And did I just buy one?
I tried to put a link to pictures but its in my email so it may not work. What's the easiest way to post pictures?

So this is a real Checkmate MX-14? Did yours have any HIN numbers somewhere?

I found this on craigslist and it was on the way to our friend's labor day party. So we brought our trailer for my 10 foot hydroplane and stopped to look at yesterday. Everything seems solid. Looks to have a new floor and carpeting. I can feel what looks to be a single stringer running down the center of the hull. Does this sound right?

Thanks for the help, you guys are very knowledgeable!

Good looking boat.
It looks real to me and if my memory is working you didn't have to put hin numbers on back then. Hin numbers that are used now a days are on the right hand top corner of the transome.

Thanks! Yeah for taped on stripes it doesn't look bad! So is there anyway to make sure its a Checkmate, without a title? There's no numbers on the transom but maybe they're under that metal transom plate.

Its a mate. Theres no numbers under the plate.

Closer look those are just tape aren't they.

Thank you for the confirmation! Yeah the seller said the previous owner redid it awhile ago. I mean he did do a nice job with just tape. He didn't do such a nice job with it around the gauges. You can't really see it in the pictures but the white actually has some sparkle in it. Almost like metal flake. Any ideas on the years these were made? I'm guessing 1970-74.
