Photo Bucket Dropped All 3rd party hosting

:thumb:

I got that notice a couple weeks ago. $399 annual ransom. Not going to happen. I'm already paying Microsoft $99 a year for OneDrive storage and Office 365. When I get the time, I'll be migrating all my pic off PB to OneDrive and closing my PB account.

There was probably a bunch of people using PB for commercial business: Etsy, etc. PB wanted their 'cut'.

What sucks is that a lot of 'historic' technical threads will be rendered useless because of this.

I got the email today also. Same thing other free image hosting sites did when they got popular enough. Time to find a new host. I see some are using Dropbox successfully, I haven't tried that yet

So I assume that all free photo sharing sites will go this route at one point or another.... Which leaves the question: Does anyone know how to post pics without a third party site? Or is it even possible ?

Chris if we want to update posts with fresh links will you unlock for us to do so?

This really sucks...Especially since I'm a pic whore.
