Preview Pics of the New Pulsare 2000 BRX (Discussion Thread)

Wow that last picture seals the deal for me, if I didnt see the Checkmate decal on the side I would say that its a Bayliner for sure

Agree with You need a glove box somewhere. And that vertical wall eliminates a nice life jacket/cooler storage area under the console in the older Pulsare's. That stated not bad, here's the key question. How much power will it take? and what's the top end with that power? I can't see anyone buying a checkmate satisfied with a 115. With that engine and price point combo it appears checkmate is targeting 1st time boat purchasers. At a rumored 29K with 115, that point is over many 1st time purchasers.

Well to start off with, I am not OB guy or a BR enthusiast. I like the clean lines of an IO, closed bow. But to put a feather Checkmate's Cap, they have always been able to make awsome looking OB's, even if your the type of person who does not like a boat with a motor hanging off the back! If any boat manufacturer would make me look at an outboard it was always Checkmate! BUT,,,,, this new one is only OK in my book! Maybe it will be priced low to draw entry level buyers to Checkmate. I will reserve judgement when I see the bigger stuff.
However if I was trying to corner the market I would Make every boat I build stand out, style wise. You should know it is a Checkmate as soon as you see it............. And it should be outstanding, as in "standing out", from the crowd!!!! :thumb:

This is what I am talking about:

That I like! And you know it is a Checkmate!
I like this one better.....

And it has nothing to do with the ladies in the pic.......no really it don't..... what.... you don't believe me???:drool:

And you don't need the Ladies to tell you it is a Checkmate,,,,, they don't need to say a thing. All they have to do is be there!!!!!!
